Letter Writing Structure & Brainstorming!
15 minute pre-recorded Video Class on the theme of Veterans Day, using the IEW keyword outline method.
In class, students will enjoy hearing a few fun facts about Veterans Day and the significance of the poppy, learn the 5 parts of a letter (structure), and discuss brainstorming questions for writing letters to veterans.
They will create a keyword outline plan for writing a letter to a veteran which they can then use to write their letter to a veteran they know, or send a letter to one of the suggested charities.
This class includes a link to a 15 minute video lesson, plus an 8 page PDF Resource that includes the parts of a letter and a blank keyword outline form, plus a Veterans Day Word Bank, and Brain Questions for this topic.
PLUS: You'll receive 5 free Veterans Day Poppy themed letter printable templates - 4 are wide ruled and 1 is preschool ruled. Students can pick from these or use their own stationery.
